Offline mission editor not working (AH version 2.26)?

For current version (2.26) I get a windows error when trying to use it.  I have Windows7 64bit.  :headscratch:

I  just came here because I get the same thing,crash or all I can see is one field Icon as soon as I try to save Mission group properties.
Any one have any ideas? I have windows xp service pack3.

Version 2.26 is working for me, in the same way and to the same degree that others have worked. It does crash when I try to edit some of my old mission (the most complex ones), but I've been able to recompile several of my simpler ones. Windows XP, 32 bits, Service Pack 3.

Mine crashes even trying to create a new mission.
