One of the new B-29 skins needs to be deleted.

It is the same aircraft from the same squadron & the only difference is the nose art is painted a different colour for the lettering on one side.

One needs to go.

That was meant to be an update, but the skinner did not include the skin reference number (or I did not see it anywhere in the body of the email), so it got added as a new skin.  The correction will have to wait until the next batch is done.

I think DutchGuy has the same 109G14 from 9./JG300 in twice also.  It's the same plane just a different treatment of the wing camo I think.  Looks a lot like a submission meant to be an update that was processed as a new submit.   This situation existed before yesterday's skin release.

I do think it may be unwise to rely entirely on skinners to supply the correct skin reference number.  Players leave the game and come back, upgrade/change computers, email addresses, etc, and I can see how it would be easy to lose track of the reference numbers of skins you've submitted over the years.

Also, if a skinner wants to redo an existing skin which was done long ago by another player no longer in the game, is there a way to find out what the skin reference number of the skin is?

EDIT:  The skins are D/L'ing ingame OK for me, but if I quit game and come back later, they start all over downloading from the first one again (109G6_16.res).   Happened yesterday and again this morning.

There are some real beauties in the batch - love the Marine F4F-4.  Haven't had a chance to check out the others much.

<S> to the skinners and to Skuzzy, thanks for the skins!

I'm not to the point of cataloging the new skins yet, but it would be cool if folks could create a list here of what they're seeing as the new ones. That way I'll have a good starting point.

You, sir, are awesome!

Just knowing what slots were updated is most helpful. I can always cross-reference in the hangar after downloading to see what is what. I know ways to figure out which skin is in which slot when offline.

Yeap, that was my exact reason for coming back in to this thread.  The 501 skin is showing the same as the default.

Same problem exists after the fix Skuzzy.

Same B-29 from the same unit & slightly different paint colour on the nose art on the second plane.

One needs to go.

I cannot address duplicate skins until the next batch release.  The fix concerned the repeated download of the same skins, over and over again.

Getting rid of a skin is not a trivial task.

Technically or because of squad usage?

Sorry I misunderstood what the fix entailed.
