PC Guitar Tuner

Here's a simple tuner for any guitarists out there that may want one for their PC.
It seems pretty accurate and it's free...

Pretty cool!! :aok

But I've been using a "Snark" lately, don't have to plug the guitar into anything.

Clamps to the headstock.

Probably not the most accurate tuner out there, but close enough for rock and roll. :rock

I use something similar to that as well, but it got misplaced.  I use this as a back up.

Very nice, but would it work for a bass?

Has most of the alternate tunings and the ability to switch between tones and guitar sound.

Sometimes technology makes more work than using the old method...  try using a tuning fork.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

Most of the guitarist I play with now days use this or something similar. They seem to be accurate enough as you say.  I play keyboards and a wide range of music and I haven't had any tuning issues with them.

Or is it some kind of donationware, etc, etc?

It's free, even though there's an option to register it.

Why would you assume I don't use one, or even a pitch pipe.  Just thought some people may be interested in this
little gizmo.  If you're not, then don't use it.
Pretty simple.

Headstock tuner works really well, and you don't have to unplug.

If you have a smart phone there's a bunch of free tuners apps out there, seem to work OK.
You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike.
