I'm the worst pilot ingame ya know!!!

It's all unrealistic crap requested by people who want pie in the sky actions performed without an understanding of how things work and who can't grasp reality.

I have a LIFE publication from the late 40s that I found when we were cleaning out a late relative's home.  The majority of them are in it.  But that's the only place I'd seen them before.  Always amazing to see color stuff from the ETO.

Yup, interesting little read on it as well. For some reason, liked the one with the contrails - go figure  :)

The first photo has an incorrect caption stating that the tank depicted is an M4 Sherman. It is an M36 Jackson... 90mm gun.

Brings back memories of playing in tanks in the snow. Freezing at night, just warm enough during the day to get muddy. Oh the joys!

What little I knew of my grandfather (he passed away before I was born), I managed to get a copy of his DD214.  It showed that he served in Batter D, 482d AAA Battalion.  It was attached to the 9th Armored Division during the Bulge.  This was where he was awarded his purple heart.

Thanks for sharing the pictures.
