Saturday Night Special Events?

Gents, I'm takin' the easy way out here. I've done a quickie search and
looked over various posts, so I'm not bein' a total slacker.
  My squad holds its weekly "Squad Night" on Saturdays, at 9PM
Eastern.
  I was thinking it might be a good change of pace to join a "Special Event"
rather than the usual fighter sweep, jabo/bomber run, etc..
  So, my question is: Are there any "special events" which take
place on Saturday night?

Your squad will need to register with ahevents.org on an individual basis well in advance.  This will facilitate a better ability to register for the event seperately through your ahevents ID.  You'll be able to register for the same unit and fly together.  You can always ask Brooke and ROC any questions if you're unsure.  They love to answer questions about Scenarios.

Thanks for the info Perdweeb and Kuya. I'll see if there's any interest among my
squaddies for getting involved. I was thinking of just a one shot (one night) deal,
but I know scenarios don't work that way, having been in my fair share
of 'em years and years ago.

At one time, I thought they were doing a 3 pm Saturday event    That was awesome!  Most of the wife ack done and I work Saturday nights    I can't remember the event but I believe it ran at two different times, to allow folks in other time zones to participate. 

It has been some time ago but did I imagine that

We will still continue to have 3pm events most of the time.  A time or two (MAX) a year we will have Saturday evening events but overall the vast majority will be in the afternoon eastern time.
