oh no... just cross-linked from another forum i frequent. looks fun and wild.
It's a pretty cool event. They hold it in the Armory on the University of Illinois' campus in Champaign. There is always stuff flying around. They have scale competitions, exhibitions by famous R/C pilots, and of course the dog fights. Tower Hobbies, also based in Champaign, always has a pretty cool area set up for kids with free stuff. Then there are plenty of vendor booths.
Not a bad way to spend a few hours.
