The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.

As absurd as enemy puffy hitting you over your own field sounds, how about catching auto-ack over land too?
Flying under 3k over friendly turf and the freaking ack is shooting at me.  WTF?

Ordinance from a boat is supposed to stop functioning when it goes over land? Using that logic, if you take a plane up from an airfield, do the bombs disarm when they get over water? I'm not entirely clear on what the problem is.  If the ship was farther out in the water, and you were flying the same distance away from it, it would still shoot you.  Right? But it would be ok cause you are not over land? Sorry, not being argumentative, I just honestly have no idea what the problem is you are pointing out.

Nothing clever here.  Please, move along.

I'm not entirely clear on what the problem is.

There are many liberties taken with the use of battle implements, that are well outside the normal scope of what they actually did during "teh war".  This one annoys me enough to make a whine thread because of it.  The problem lies with having an aircraft carrier (which was a stand off weapon inclined to keep it's distance from the enemy) used for auto ack aircraft suppression over an enemy field.   Maybe the maps should have moats around the towns, so a CV group can pull right up to the McDonald's and order a Happy Meal.
