Boeing took a Direct Hit

With this weekend's outbreak of massive storms, Boeing Witchita/Spirit Aerospace took a direct hit from a tornado 6 miles to the south of the airport. Direct line winds were of at least 84mph and caused large ammounts of damage. So far, they are saying it might not be as bad as it looks.

I couldnt get some of the pics to post but here are links to numerous pics of the damage.

Was a company that supplies fuselages, used to be part of Boeing but they spun the company off awhile back.  Not really a hit on Boeing, just one of their suppliers.

I said Boeing Witchita/Spirit Aerospace... Boeing Witchita indeed recieved damage. One of the hangars had what seemed to be all but one of the doors ripped off which exposed the USAF C-32 in one of the photos.

McConnell AFB flew their KC-135s out of state for that storm.  I betcha they're glad they did that!
