runways being able to be destroyed???

don't if this the right catagory but anyways me and my squad have been looking at this arena settings and stuff in the LWMA and we found that according to it the runway can be destroyed with 125k pounds of ord for 1 min anyone shed some light on this subject is it even possible to do I know 3 sets of 29s carry enough ords to do it but if it can be done then why not change downtime to 15mins??

It looks that way, but runways are protected by other, additional settings other than the object ones.

Pretty sure its set the way it is to stop people bombing the runways, stopping planes upping and fighting back. Then again, I could be wrong (usually am)

Some other setting is protecting it.

I went offline and set the runway destruction very low and bombing it did nothing.

if runways were destroyed would you just up from the hangers?

  I believe thats old information. When I first played AH (2003) it was enabled and crashed into a crater on takeoff.

Were all craters capable of removing your landing gear back then as well?

  Not sure as it only happened to me once and then I avoided them.

back in the day you where able to take out runways

HOWEVER this was a bit gamey so since then HTC has put settings in place to avoid this

we have upped missions with 30 lancs and was not able to take out runways

  Bridges could also be taken out in the past slowing down resupply.
