That is one of the most inspirational stories I've read in a very long time. I teared up. Best wishes to him and his family  :pray.

 I believe the author put it very well, a true hero.  :salute

Sea.. there were Canadians, Germans, French, and so on.  Bottom line is they were called and they went.  Just makes me happy to see so many people regardless of politics do something for someone who put it all on the line.  Lots of people forget that us 'Mericans are pretty bad arse but when it comes down our allies have our backs.  As bad as it can get there are dang good people out there.
