I played CS professionally in my young days, I am quite happy with DayZ although I do wish the damn cheats would go away.... reminds me of when aimbots ran rapid in CS and nearly destroyed the game.

I was in a few Cal-invite and Main teams throughout my days, I loved driving to different cities for lan tournaments - back then I never thought there would be "Gaming contracts" for clans to play professionally, our manager would book
trips to different cities where we'd play, usually it would be $500 or $1000 prize or some computer parts... we generally played for money since our PC's were already decked out.

Best event ever was in dallas texas, called Cyberathletes profesisonal league, think a few gamers like fatality made famous from playing there.

LOL I never got to that level, life took over when college began, but it was quite a fun time - I might possibly check out "Go" just for the fun of it to relive my days roaming Dust1 or Dust2 :)

Ive been playing counter strike since it launched, and butcher... aim bots still dominate every sever sadly. But I think this is because valve is working on the newest c-strike and not really working on keeping servers VAC secured. I used to scrim with my clan and we bet money via pay pal. Made some good $

Why drive when you could fly F-18s to your next tournament?

I was in the closed beta and wasn't all that impressed. It's just CS:S with CoD-like graphics.
Like, ya know, when that thing that makes you move, it has pistons and things, When your thingamajigy is providing power, you do not hear other peoples thingamajig when they are providing power.

Hehe. It's a fun shooter, I just prefer more teamwork over mass chaos. :P
