The Syrian civil war is no longer about the Assad regime. The Allwits (not sure how to spell this in English) are fighting for their lives. If the rebels win, the Allawits and allied minorities will be slaughtered. They do not care about Assad the leader, they fight to save themselves. So who are the "good guys"? Hizballa is supporting Assad and the Allawits, while El-Qaida is supporting the rebels. I would like the word to interfere and end the bloodshed, but interfere on whose behalf? bad or worse? take your pick.
