Hi-Res not evident?

After this last patch, wording in the cockpit seems blurry. Almost like the hi-res did not reload.  I went to the home site and redownloaded & ran the hi-res program again to no avail. I just checked, the last hi-res was 2284 and says it is for patch #4.  Is this not patch 6? Probably doesn't matter but was wondering how come it didn't auto load when 6's patch came out? And why are my plackards about looking here and someone getting on my 6 blurry   I know I have not been drinking too much beer, cause I'm out right now

After you downloaded and installed the Hi-Res Texture pack, did you remember to change the video setting on the clipboard to either 1024 or 2048, depending on your preference?

No, didn't know it kicked it back to 512.   It is at 2048 & now I know about the streets being quiet
