Fiery Sky Frigid Sea Screens
« on: November 03, 2012, 11:25:48 AM »

FSO a game of inches.

Pretty darn close, still no collision.

Early action for the Volunteers, 8 F6Fs of 1841 Fleet Air Arm plus some FM2s really put the hurtin' on us. Intense action, short night. <S>
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

JG54 got slaughtered, but still managed to sink our assigned target  :airplane:

Hello: tunes here ...

Good work JG54 and 9GIAP. Nothing like hearing the boom of a 2000lb CV buster and seeing the Carrier heading down to bring a smile to Bravo Group's Squadrons.

I would also like to add a well done to the pilots of the LCA for drawing the allies away from the 7-12-7 sector line where the CV was located. Pulling these CV protectors one to two keypads east. Was one key to getting the 87's in close to let loose, those CV busters.

Also a "well done" to the Kommando's providing close escort to the 87's.

Salute to Bravo Group for getting the job done.

:salute and thanks to LCA and tunes for the scouting work and pulling some of the CV cap away.
:salute and thanks to 9GIAP and Dantoo for the excellent job of keeping us away for the enemy scouts and for pounding the other boats
:salute and thanks to KN and perdweeb for the close escort and chasing off that group of seafires

Bravo group sank the entire northern task force, and still had some 9GIAP pilots left afterwards to attempt a secondary strike at the southern TF; all because fo the great team work and prior planning of the FSO axis squads.  It's frames like this one that keep me coming back for more.  :aok
