Reset arena
« on: February 06, 2013, 02:25:02 PM »
I start to think about if this server like to be american internal.
All update are coming up at prime time of european players.
Just think about, all of us has a job and have to get up early in the morning.
We like to enjoy this game, but your time of update destroy all kind of planned action for european players.
Pls push it 2-3 hours later or at a time, Europe is sleeping and US still at work.

Don't the resets only take like...5 minutes? If that? :headscratch:

I thought the same til I saw his forum date... made me wander by announcements. Sure enough a patch is out. Considering it's 2:30pm CSt this is an ideasl time to patch - before the US playerbase activity kicks up for prime time. Could have done it earlier, but it'd hit euros in later-afternoon to evening regardless.

I'd rather say they are coming up at US working times. My vague guess that's when the HTC crew is actually in office... working ;)

Yeah, there's a short window between 1:45 and 2:45pm that things actually get done in the American workplace.  :noid

Added a return salute (.rs) dot command.  Typing .rs will return a salute back to whover saluted you last.

 :x

Now that's helpful!  You have no idea how much trouble I have getting a game ID correct on a salute.  Yes, part of it is because I'm stupid, but some people spell stuff weird.  :huh

You da men (and women) HTC!   :aok

Flak now targets bombers in preference to fighters.  A fighter must be at least half the distance of the bomber before the flak will target the fighter over the bomber.

Flak will stop firing at at enemy planes that have a friendly plane within 1000 yards of it.  It will either switch to a different target or stop firing if no other targets are available.
