Good luck on this when most of your squads and players will be heading into SEA1 for FSO at 11 PM EST/10 PM CST.

Could be done by then, maybe they will have time to go to the FSO at that time.

◊ Date: April 5th, 2013
◊ Time: 7:30 PM ET (Assembly) → 8:00 PM ET (Missions Posted) → 8:30 PM ET (Launch)

As an experienced mission planner with 8th AF Missions, at 8:30 PM EST launch will require at least an hour to for bombers to climb to altitude.  You're at 9:30 EST.  Because not every player has discipline to listen to instructions, read text messages and individuals going AFK, you'll need another 30 minutes to form up and get into combat spread and now it's 10:00 EST.  This all takes place in friendly territory and you need time to approach enemy target area that requires another 30 minutes or so and time is 10:30 PM EST.

30 minutes until start of FSO.

Now it's a one way mission for the majority of your players to at least bomb or shoot, then head off to FSO.  They will bail to report to their assigned squad's FSO duties before Fields Open.

I'm not discouraging you just letting you know what will happen.  I would want to fly B-17s for that mission.  But as a member of a FSO squad, my first responsibility would be to bail out of the buffs at 10:45 PM EST so I can get over to SEA 1 for FSO regardless if I dropped bombs or not during the MoM.

Any Friday night mission of that magnitude would be best done on the 4th or 5th Friday night of that month to get the maximum participation without the hindrance of time constraints due to FSO.

Best of luck in your mission.

Thanks for your input, since I'm giving such a high notice moving it one day shouldn't be a problem.

Your most welcome.

I do want your mission to succeed.  1st, 2nd, and 3rd Friday nights are hard for massive missions like that at that time frame.  Saturday nights are more condusive for that level of participation.  Most people can stay up later also.

Its moved to the 6th, everything is still going as planned. :) Since im doing both Rook and Bishop MoM I need to talk to bishop squads about the next one, these missions need to be planned out early due to their size.  :salute

Shame, should upgrade, these events stand on their own level of insanity, particularly when the mission finally encounters well organised resistance.  :devil
