Squelch Not Working Right (at least for me)
« on: April 12, 2013, 11:45:49 AM »
Tried to use the Squelch and Squelch Voice from the dropdown when right clicking on a players name on the roster and both gave the same message in the text buffer:

"<Player Name> has been voice squelched"

Then still heard the player on Range Vox.  Didn't see any text from the player in the buffer, but he's more a talker than a texter.

I tried to duplicate this and all worked for me, did you per chance leave the arena?

Hi HiTech,

Yep, that had to be it, as Squelch is working fine for me, so I must have left the game and came back.  Didn't know squelch was only for one session.

Also, another question while on this subject:

Does a player know specifically when they have been squelched (ie: are they notified by text buffer, etc).  I don't want to offend anyone, just squelching a few self appointed generals who come on range radio and start barking orders at me that I may not want to participate in.

Thanks!

There is no message to the squelched player.
