Buff protection, Bomber killer

I'd like to see escorts get an achievement for shooting down a plane in the area of a bomber group. For example you are in an Escort, and you shoot down an enemy fighter within 5k of a friendly bomber group, you get an achievement. Maybe 5 kills ?

As for buff destroyer, in the area of 5k of fighter escorts, you shoot down 5 bombers you get an achievement.


Oh and must be prop driven aircraft's to weed out the 262s/163s.

I like the notion, however, the implications are that anyone within range (think furball) would get the achievement because a lone set of buffs took off.

Perhaps utilizing the the Pickup Mission as the control would help.  Achievement only applies to escorts/buffs paired in a pickup mission?

I prefer to go after the escort fighters so maybe add something for a person who shoots down the escorts that are near a bomber group.

Maybe it could be coded like when people want to join you in flight as an observer or gunner. They could join some buffs as an escort. Then, once you killed the escort(s) you can earn achievement points. Maybe max the number of escorts per buff(s), a ratio or maybe no limit. Allow buffs be tied together as a bomb group/gruppe.
