Booting up Windows 7 from a PCIe SSD
« on: August 06, 2013, 12:59:44 PM »
Here's one of my desktops which has the Revodrive 3 as the bootup drive:

This isn't Skuzzy fast but then again I haven't tweaked the OS outside of setting up the noGUI flag...

Fail!

Be patient, I had to reupload the video. Or if you're referring to the bootup speed, show us yours then.

If I power up my comp before I turn on my monitor,it's at windows start screen before the monitor lights up!

I think it's between 9 and 10 seconds......Oh and I know nothing about computers.... :neener:

And what exactly does my laptops logo reflecting from the screen affect anything? It's funny how hate blinds you people.

Ok, post your video then. In my case the longest time in bootup goes to hardware detection as I have quite a lot of hardware in that computer. Once hardware detection is done (keyboard lights flash) the OS itself loads in less than 2 seconds.

Why do I have to post a video? I really could care less about such trivial matters.

If you cant take my word on it oh well,I have nothing to prove or a reason to prove it.

If you have a conventional harddrive the bootup time you said is pretty much impossible, that's why.
