Specific spot to land gv's
« on: July 27, 2013, 04:17:13 AM »
within 100 meters of spawn hanger(does not count near spawn points.. I ask this to eliminate pad sitters. You can not fire for this spot. Don't know if its codeable but it would be nice.

HTC has it coded that concrete on a friendly base is the "safe zone". I'd like HTC to explore a different scoring system for gv's and more specifically that includes earning and losing perk points.  If the P51D drops a bomb and destroys the King Tiger perhaps the loss of perks should not be as high?  However, if the King Tiger were to be destroyed by another gv, then the full monty would apply.  Likewise, I think a ditch should not be as devastating perk point wise.  It would be nice to see more of the concrete campers be used out in the field at a distant spawn point attacking an enemy field or town.

It is too bad that HTC cant differentiate kills of a gv between gv's and everything else.  I think most of us know that the number of times a P51D dropped a 1000lb bomb on a King Tiger in WWII can be counted on one hand, and that is being generous.  The King Tiger, Jagdpanther, and Tiger all are concrete campers for a particular reason more so than not: the threat of being bomb 'tarded.  Sure, once the Allies earned complete air superiority they could devote more and more fighters towards the direct fire support role, but in AH that is the norm.  Up a King Tiger and start the timer until a P51D shows up with 1000 lb bombs specifically for one purpose only: bomb 'tarding the King Tiger.

+1 or something like it.  Maybe you have to drive into a VH at the field to land and keep it any concrete in town.  Disabling firing might be a pain as sometimes you need to spawn at the field and be guns blazing as soon as your turret clears the VH door.
