« on: August 26, 2013, 08:35:24 PM »
I belive adding the yak 1 will thoroughly complete the series of yakovlev light figter family (yak 1 and 3)  and medium fighter (yak 7 and 9)  from early war to late war.

Yeah, the Yak-1 is one of the main machines needed to finish rounding out the Russian fighter set. The MiG-3 and LaGG-5 would be nice to have, too.

Certainly a lesser need, but the I-15 and I-153 would be useful, too, particularly for setups in the early stages of the Sino-Japanese war.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Yep, Yak-1 is a solid work horse of WWII which was developed throughout the conflict. Thousands upon thousands were built and they saw massive amounts of action.

Unfortunately, with the Yaks recently updated, I doubt it'll be added anytime soon.
