The books are better, there's a whole series of them.
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

Did they also burn real humans for authenticity? No, but mossies they burned like they are some soul-less inanimate objects. I am sure these planes are now flying in heaven with 70 virgin girls in their bomb bays.
