No reason to censor this.  This is the world we live in.  If more Americans were exposed to what real war looks like, maybe less would think of it as a video game.  Real war is not Call of Duty.  Real war is a dirty, loud, extremely scary business.  I fought it in the hopes my children will never have to.

Funny lil side note: I was actually able to Google Earth the exact spots where I was shot and where I was blown up.  Gave me chills at first, but later helped me to heal inside.

I had no idea that you were wounded. Glad that your doing well enough to say that your "healed".

Surprised by the lack of tactics the guys in those films used compared to some of the foreign fighters in Afghanistan....

 Watching ISR footage of some of the dudes we got into with was pretty amazing seeing them maneuvering with us(majority were hit and run but some got ballsey)

Very few in my experience had any concept of fire and manouvre, there are certainly a few groups  that employ reasonable tactics but the majority use the standard middle east technique of blatting of mag after mag on full auto, butt out of the shoulder, and often with only their weapon out of cover. Amazed me not more birds were hit. Always had me wondering where all those rounds, fired at 45° eventually landed.
Having said that there was one particularly irksome chap with a Dragunov who was especially good and more than a little resilient

What they're yelling over and over must mean "teach me how to shoot and aim." I think I saw only a couple of "soldiers" aim their weapons.

If this wasnt a real war with woman and kids suffering this would almost be humorous.

You would think they would give at least basic combat training to these fighters. These guys look like they have none.

Im just glad we didnt send our kids into this buzz saw. Nothing there is more important then their lives.
