I think it quites strange a large airfield is basicly just the same as a small air field with more runways. My idea is to make it so large airfields are harder to take and better than small airfields.
Small airfield (forward base): Has 3 fighter hangers. Taking down a fighter hanger raises the ENY at this field by 20. Droping 2 fighter hangers raises the ENY to 40. Dropping all 3 fighter hangers disables fighters. Each FH has 30 minute down time.
Mid sized airfield: Has 3 fighter hangers. Taking down a fighter hanger raises the ENY at this field by 10. Dropping 2 fighter hangers raises the ENY to 20. Dropping all 3 fighter hangers raises the ENY to 30. Each FH has 15 minute down time because trucks come from a small industrial center (near the town). Destroying 1 truck raises down time by 1 minute. Destroying 1 building in the industrial center raises down time by 2 1/2 minutes.
Large airfield: Has 3 fighter hangers. Taking down a fighter hanger raises the ENY at this field by 5. Dropping 2 fighter hangers raises the ENY to 10. Dropping all 3 fighter hangers raises ENY to 15. Each FH has only 5 minute down time because there is a large industrial center (near the town). Which sends trucks and trains to the field. Destroying 1 truck raises down time by 1 minute. Destroying 1 train raises down time by 5 minutes. Destroying 1 building in the industrial center raises down time by 2 1/2 minutes.
NOTE:
1: This is the same for Bomber hangers and GV hangers (if on a V base).
2: base ENY is seperate from arena ENY. For example. If arena ENY is 15 and base ENY is 20. The Min ENY at the base is still 20. If arena ENY is 25 however base ENY is also 25.
What ya think?
