This is no laughing matter.  I too have lost a DVR disk and can tell you the emotional trauma can be devastating.

I had saved the final 8 episodes of Lost on my DVR. When it crashed, I lost Lost.

I lost a packet of fig biscuits once, they were the best biscuits i never had :old:
