WWI automatic disco again...
« on: August 27, 2014, 09:13:07 PM »
Skuzzy,

This is the only arena it happens in. It did not happen last week. But just as a year or so ago, every time I log in I get the host disconnect message within 10 seconds. The map loads, the arena loads, people and icons load, I can move from base to base, anything... Then whack.

It's not my firewall, I even turned the whole thing off, it still happens. This is the only arena online it happens in.

Actually people's messages show up, their icons on radar as well, but the players themselves in their planes never materialize.

The disconnect happens at the exact same time this same arena would kick me from udp to tcp. This would happen every time I logged into the arena. Every single time. Now it's jus a flat out disconnect. Again, this is the only arena it happens in.

Now this is a very far fetched guess, but: Since WW1 is somewhat of a testing platform, could it be possible that it runs somewhat different features than then other arenas? And are those features something that don't like your video card? And is your video card possibly made by Intel? DxDiag output might help.

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.
