Bridges and Dams

I know this isn't a new wish and I'm guilty of not doing much of a search to see/know what was discussed before or other history.

I think it would be interesting to have destructible bridges and dams.  Bridges across large rivers or bays in spots where destroying them makes a difference. Not sure how a dam being up or own could be factored in as far as consequences, but it would be fun to have them and try to kill and defend them if we had a reason to.

I realize this is probably  something that would be hard to drop into existing maps, but since some new terrain stuff is happening, maybe some future maps could incorporate it.

I have seen them in use in the AVA and scenarios.  All I can say is it's a whole nutha level.  Oh yeah, a big +1

You can even include rebuild time.  Tie it into the city strat.  If the city strat is down any percentage, it lengthens the rebuild time of the dam or bridge.

You also alter the tactic of whether you can take a base with a M3 or a C47.  Bridge is out?  Now you have to fly a goon in.  Maybe make it so either side can destroy the bridge in the area...
