« on: July 20, 2014, 07:52:41 AM »
Hello everyone, I have a small wish that id like to bring to the table.Playing in MW yesterday with some guys,we had begun to run troops into a town,as this was going on some of them had been killed by plane defending,no one was sure how many made it in,so my question is would it be possible to have a troop counter to tell you how many have safely made it or didnt make it? your thoughts thank you :salute

Part of the fog of war, one needs to try to keep count of the number of troops that
were able to reach the map room. Best is to have extra troops available or all running at the
same time

While I understand where you are coming from, I too give a -1.  We have many things now that make it rather easy to tell difficult things.  For example. DT commands on friendly and enemy things that we would need covert ops and infiltration/ fly-overs for.  We have cntrl + D for instant knowing of what is wrong with your plane.  We also have precision bombsights.  These are just a few of the 'accurate - even moreso than their time' things.

Again, I do understand where you are coming from, in the midst of battle it is hard to tell sometimes how many troops got in, how many were killed and if there are anymore on the way.  But if they added a troop counter, then I think that would make it even more gamey than what it is now.

I will +1 this one.  It would be interesting to know how close you got.  On A82 yesterday we had several almost.  To be fare though it would have to visible to both sides and that might be a deal breaker.
