Saving Settings.
« on: August 29, 2014, 10:10:38 AM »
Just had a hard drive failure in which I lost, amongst other things, my joystick settings. I naively thought it was under settings, but I see a folder called stickdef.

Can someone confirm for me please that this is the one I need to copy to a safe place to keep my joystick settings?

Thanks

The stickdef files contact some stick information to help get a user programmed better than the standard default configuration.

Your personal stick settings are saved in the "settings" folder.

You need to save the "settings" folder. You may also want your terrains, skins, films etc.

I know it works.  When I set up on a second computer some time ago, I copied my settings folder to the other PC.  When I fired up Aces High, there were my stick settings along with the keyboard keys I had remapped.
