Stick / Value
« on: October 03, 2014, 11:22:39 AM »
As many of you know, I've decided to get a gaming confuser and come back out of retartement.

I've also convinced my lifelong best friend to give AH a try as well so I'll be buying new sticks for both of us.

In the past I've always used a Thrustmaster T Flight HOTAS and I've been very happy with it.
They cost about $50 and mine has been very dependable aside from some plastic wearing off causing the hat switch to not have a reliable left/rear look.

Is there a better stick for similar money on the market?

If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

It's probably the best HOTAS in that price category and if you've been happy with it, go for it. I have one, but I only use the throttle, using the T16000M as the stick. It's probably the most accurate stick in the market, costing about $50. So if you still have your old T-Flight and the throttle is working flawlessly, get the T16000M. As you may well know, AH supports an almost infinite number of controllers to be used at the same time, so only the number of USB ports is the limit.

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.
