I used to work on the top floor of an office building; my desk was right next to the windows. One year, a family of peregrine falcons built a nest on the roof, directly above my desk. They'd fly towards me at full speed and then ''brake" about two feet from the window as they came in to land, accompanied by the hungry shrieking of the nestlings. Lucky for me, they had a shower and change facilities at the office.
