BoB Frame 3 Video
« on: September 22, 2015, 10:44:00 PM »
The 412th's perspective defending think it was A64. The LW came in with a lot of high 111s with plenty of escorts. We did what we could but the place got levelled. Nice job!

Enjoy!

If I am not mistaken, that was JG11 you folks encountered in the 109's.  It was a fantastic fight gentlemen.  BOB is my favorite, the plane set seems to me to be the best match up and the fights are intense.  because of the limited firepower there are longer fights with fewer instant kills.

I'm looking forward to many many more.

I'm pretty sure the badguys in your film are the Heinkels of G3-MF and 353rd FG being escorted into the large airbase A62 by JG11 "Emils".

Thanks for posting this.  :salute

You guys are right, JG 11 and G3MF it was. The night ended very quickly for me...  I went into a inverted stall and could not recover. That's never happened to me like that,  Im planning on sending the video to HTC.

Needless to say I was a little PO'd. Fun fight as always though.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

From the bomber's perspective, it went rather well.  By the time we engaged out sights, most everything was JUST below us allowing us to get our lanes and stay in them.

The fighters looked intense!

Fun as always and very nice escort by JG11.

I've been fiddling with the AHFilm program all day and I can't get it to create anything longer than an eight-second AVI. So, the heck with it. I'll just put a link to my twenty megabyte AHF file, below.

It is, therefore, "raw footage" - beginning just moments before we spotted those initial four Hurricanes boring in on the Heinkels and ending with my landing at Cherbourg.

Contains scenes of simulated combat violence and language that may be offensive to some. Parental discretion is advised.   ;)

The AHF file is here.

Bino I generally don't make a video like I did this one. I've been using OBS for twitch and was messing with the settings, forgot to actually test them and recorded the frame as usual. The result was unwatchable!

I figured a way around it tho.

I still flipped on AHFilm during the engagements. The films recorded fine but don't get my TIR. I also found Vegas + OBS isn't a good match anyway. So I ran the film in full screen and started FRAPS and just used my hat switch to change views as I would in game. Then edited those in Vegas to come up with the finished product.

I never got very good with AHFilm making the film shots. It does work tho bit you're stringing together a bunch of them to make a video like this.

That was US in  both fights.

We just wanted to tie you up in the second fight to make sure the bombers got home. All of us were BINGO FUEL. When 38maw shot me done I think I had like 4 minutes left.

 :salute

fun fights and GREAT FSO!
