Welcome to the alpha Patch 81. This was built and released on October 23, 2015.
Test goals:------------------
I simply want your opinion on the new night sky. Go off line and set the time with .time 3 0 1 "3:00 and speed multiplier of 1" or different night time. Check the Moon and star positions against your location, if you are located on the Dallas, TX latitude (32.7767° N).
Also test the guns in the battleship.
Corrections/Updates:---------------------------
Action: Stars are now round, smaller and should be in the correct place for Dallas, TX.
Action: The moon is now a full 3D object and also should show the correct place and phase.
(Yes I know it is to big, I did it intentionally.)
Action: Adjusted night lighting. Also changed night lighting on the water.
(I am not happy with the moon ocean lighting.)
Action: Changed the default down times and hardness of HQ.
Action: Made the 88 manned guns circle gun sight brighter.
Action: Fixed an issue with tracers from large ship guns.
Action: Added the Milky Way to the night sky.
Action: Found an old issue causing some collision abnormalities, in some of our shapes.
Action: We have temporarily replaced the cruiser with the battle ship for testing.
Action: The Sun is now displayed real size.
Action: Made a change to the restore command so ".restore F20" would restore all objects at field 20 and ".restore C01" would restore all country objects.
Additional Information:
Use the ".psave filename" command to save your position in the terrain/world. If you do not provide a file name, then file will be saved as "cmepos.txt" in the "settings" folder. Thank you!
