Everything runs ok, FR around 50.  while in flight i see no issues then get the ahbata.exe error message.   I am guessing uninstall and reinstall the bata?

Just takin' a guess here, I know it's the beta and all but.... The problem is that you don't have the right kind of computer for gaming. I wouldn't be expecting much in the way of great performance that is past the capabilities of your hardware. You have a laptop that is not designed for gaming.

50 fps is well above what my desktop did in AH2 for quite sometime.  You may be correct, but Oakranger's  post here, had given me hope that my trucker buddies' laptops weren't necessarily taken out of commission.

What concerns me more than the fact it is a laptop, is the dxdiag fail line:

The last time I run dxdiag several times in a row I recall getting error messages of a similar type when I switched to the 64 bit mode. Not every time, and I don't have any of those saved. Couldn't reproduce the issue now. Anyway, it'd be worth redoing a couple of times to see if that line persists. If not, it may well be just a glitch.
