I was fortunate to be there for that.  Only time I ever saw a Catalina in flight, not to mention the B29.  Quite a spectacle.

I was there for the take off at Culpeper. The fence goes away after a second or two.

There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

I guess I will add mine.  I was across from where Nef was watching.  Great meeting you BTW Nef.


Also got a guided tour after the crowds left and got to ride around with a CAF guy who gave me a special treat.
