Target Practice
« on: August 03, 2016, 08:46:32 PM »
I wish for some realistic target drones. Even if I have to pay for them every month.
Nothing fancy just some drones flying realistic speeds, do loop dee loops, high speed
dives then a pull out. Just something a little more realistic.

I understand ACM and have excellent SA. Can beat others in maneuvering but
can not land BB's on target. Have tried and tried and tried to no avail and finally
just left. Played for months on end if I did get kill as because just happen to be around
when someone crashed. Read and reread forum studied you tube vids still nothing.

So that is what I wish for. Something realistic to shoot at so will have a decent
chance in arena. Don't want a be top pilot with most kills every month, would be happy
for 1 kill to 3 or 4 death.

Don't know why, the online arena in Aces is ONLY place my gunnery sucks so bad.

P.S.
Hoping for some awesome vive support. Been waiting for this VR stuff
since Air Warrior days!

Off-line missions are available in AH2 and they are working on them for AH3 beta. These have the planes flying a bit more aggressive and take some skill to take out.

As for training, post a few films of your fights, along with the convergence setting your using. It may just be as simple as your timing, angle is off a bit and you don't see it other than "just another miss". It is possible to get a better aim. The trick is to get help, your never going to do it on your own. While no "killer" in the game I can keep my hit% in the 4 and 5 % area. Anything over 1% is above average believe it or not.

Do not despair!
