Calliope Rockets

When you are moving in the M4 the rocket flight path does not seem to be intuitive. I understand that their flight would be off somewhat because of relative motion, but the result I get does not meet with intuition. The offset does not seem to be proportionally correct to me.

The direction is correct, but they instantly weather vain to their direction instead of wobbling.

Shoot bullets out the side of a b17 you will see the same effect. If your aiming to the right side of the vehicle/plane the projectile will hit to the left of your aim point.
