Voice transmit static
« on: September 14, 2016, 08:59:43 PM »
Get static when I transmit on vox. Possibly a Win 10 issue from what I have been reading? Thought I would post here to get an opinion.

Have you installed the dedicated audio drivers for your system? I'm not an expert in reading driver data from the DxDiag, but to me it looks like you're using generic audio drivers provided by Microsoft.

How about the rest of your motherboard drivers? The latest ones for your motherboard and OS can be found here: http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=466#download, just choose Win10 64 bit in the drop down menu.

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0662&SUBSYS_1565821F&REV_1001

Comes back as Realtek, so he may have an onboard sound chip that he has not installed the Realtek drivers for.
