At a large field tonight my machine went from 143 fps to 53.... was choppy and stuttered bad . Talking with people on range and they experience the same issue. Is this a bug or is it a limitation of our hardware ?  Dxdiag attached <S>

Good observation.  I experienced the same thing, kind of.  Frame rate definitely dropped at a field with a lot of activity where this used to not happen in early AH3 days.  Also experiencing micro-stutters.  I have an i7-6700k @ 4 GHz + GTX 1080 so I can't see it being a hardware limitation.

This was super bad over a84 last night. First time I was chasing a Mossie at 30k and frame rates dropped from 60 fps to 21 fps. Any GVs were far below, as were all the ground objects.

Till the base fell, it was pretty unplayable by my estimate, a third or the people. People who could play mentioned that their frame rates were cut in half.

IMHO, there is something about how the 3 runway fields are working that causes the frame rate drop. I have only really noticed it there but others may have other experiences.

Thanks!

Yes, this was incredibly notable last night as stated at A84.  I don't have a great graphics setup, it maintains 35-40 generally, but is smooth and playable.  It dropped to 10-12 at A84.  Though, I always see that I have 2xxx.xx video memory, and it usually only uses 45x.xx or 5xx.xx of it.
