Trim tab indicator visibility in HTC Vive (or other)VR mode
« on: November 10, 2016, 01:42:03 AM »
Howdy Hi Tech and cockpit designers :salute

I will work on coming up with a list of planes that could use some improvements to their trimtab indicators when in VR mode and give some examples of planes with great trim tab visibility. To clarify, I don't believe that the size of the whole trim indicator panel needs changing, just a way to improve the visibility of the red indicators themselves.

For now, two examples:
  • P-38s have very small, dimlit red indicators for the trim setting. With shadows on it becomes impossible to see unless you lean in as close as possible (still quite hard to see) or zoom in.
  • FW152 has very big and bright red trim indicator markings.

Thank you all for reading!

As it pertains to enhancing/correcting possible visual issues with models, I moved this to the bug forum.
