The New English defeated the Atlantites from what I gather.

The Atlanteans were very advanced, and that showed in their football team's awesome game play in the 1st half.  But much was lost in the sinking of their island empire, which the Niwe AEnglisc seem to have retrieved from the sea floor through the process of a century of using nets in the Atlantic.

I cannot believe that the Falcons screwed up the field goal opportunity with ~4 mins left, 3 point there and they would have won... (Most likely). They didnt have the nerves to handle the situation..

all that hate and yet i respect the team, again.  Nothing against the falcons, Matt Ryan seems a good guy.

Patriots did it again!

p.s. Aaron Rodgers  :rofl

Yep. Gut wrenching.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

I know its hard to do in another way but winning the coin toss in OT is more or less a free ticket to victory, a coin toss should not have that impact on a game of this magnitude.

I always thought overtime, in playoff games should be like this;

No coin toss.
The last team to tie the game up gets the ball kicked to them first.  However that drive ends (score, downs...), it ends and they then kick it back (no punts) to the other team.

If they are still tied at the end of that, then repeat until a winner emerges.

The OT rules are much better than they were. However,  college OT rules are still superior.

Agree Zimme, but After what the Bengals did last year in the playoffs with the Steelers......nothing in football surprises me anymore
