Is your father Earl1937 on this website sir?  Did you use his account to post this?

If this is true and Earl is your father, we would very much like to have you join us and play.  Earl has been here for many years and has regaled us with some absolutely wonderful stories in the past.  I am so sorry to hear that his health is failing and he is no longer able to play.  I loved seeing the stories he posted here.  He's a fine man and I for one will miss him very very much.  Please tell him I am thinking of him.

:salute :salute ET37, did not know you long but the time I did was fun.  I remember it would be early afternoon and all was pretty quiet, ET37 would sign on and the chatter box would light up with <S> and requests for missions.  the only squad I have been in was the Devil Dogs and my check off ride was with ET37.  HE said well I guess that's good enough for the game because the planes are free.

Your dad has been a big part of our collective "hobby". You sir are more than welcome to fly with any of us, we look forward to seeing you in the skies. If you ever want any help or to just fly and talk ET is a friend of ours and everybody is more than willing to lend a hand or answer any questions you have.

I don't know what to say.  I just decided to get back into AH and decided the first step would be see whats going on in the forums.

I came across this post and was devastated to see it was ET.  I was a member of the squad when I played and ET was one of the people I was really looking forward to playing with again.

I'm a twenty year vet and not ashamed to say I couldnt keep the tears from my eyes the farther I got along this thread.

ET God Bless and Fair Skies man
