British Comet
« on: April 04, 2017, 11:32:56 PM »
I do not know if this was requested before. HTC we have numerous German tanks in the game and also American and Soviet tanks in the game. The brits so far only have the firefly but I could be wrong. I was wondering in your long list of request could you possible add the British Comet it came and it was their faster tank and could take out a lot of the German gvs in that day. I will provide more info on the Comet when I get to my desktop.

The British Comet sounds like a good tank. 77mm HV gun, 32 mph. +1

yes there are alot of good tanks to add but the whole reason to this post was trying to add more Allied Tanks to the game we already influx of german tanks so I was just looking to try and even out the playing fields.

is a bit silly in the country specific achievements section when all you can take to get 2500 kills is a firefly.

+1 to the comet or any other tank that stands half a chance against a panzer.

From your links:
Quote
The British World War 2 Comet Tank was finally the tank that could match the firepower and mobility of the deadly German Panther tank, however it was only ready in 1944, by which time the Normandy landings and invasion of Germany had been well under way and the Comet was way too late in its deployment to the field to offer any significant advantage for the Allies.

If it was too late to offer any significant advantage, why include it?  I'd rather see significant tanks used in the North Africa campaign added, such as the Crusader.  That would provide iconic country representation and a reasonable tank to field against most of the German choices.
