VR - bad framerates :(

i5 3570k, 12Gb RAM, 1080 card. AV is McAffe.
Win10 ( problem was apparent before and after creator's upgrade )

When I start the game and noone is around - 45-90 fps and no problems.
2-3 planes fighting in my area - down to 12 fps and slideshow
Seems to be related to the terrain - in bright ones it appears worst the in dark ones.

Any ideas ?

Get rid of macAfee. I have an Asus GTX 1080 FE 8 gig card and have to overclock it to keep consistent FRs.
There are better AV for free that don't use up the resources that the Macafee does.

On the clipboard, what are your graphic sliders set at?  Try the default setting then check the FR

McAfee, Avast, Norton, and Kaspersky are the worst about interfering with the game.  The worst thing about McAfee and Norton is they cannot be disabled.  Disabling them just stops the reporting of issues, but does not stop the problems they cause.  The only recourse for those products it to remove them from the computer and get the tool, from their website(s), which will undo the damage they do when they install.

This could also be cloud related, but we need to know what field of what terrain the issue was occurring at.

Check your fan settings on the video card. The fans are set too low in order to reduce noise. When the card heats up it clocks down. Try running the fan at least 80% to see if that makes a difference.
