I kinda miss the community sharing its flight films like it did at the begining. They don't have to be extraordinary, just interesting. I've always learned from watching others fly.
Here is a mission of mine last night. I logged on for a couple of quick sorties before bed. My first two sucked. I couldn't get into the groove. I was about to log off in disgust but decided to try one more time. I always like to end the evening on a GOOD sortie. The last one is usually the one I remember. So I decided to give it another try. I just wanted one good mission before calling it a night. This one was it. Its a 5 kill sortie in a 1c. 5 kills in a 1c isn't anything to write home about, but this mission just felt good. I felt I had finally gotten into the "zone". All the enemies seemed to line themselves up into just the right position at just the right time. I hardly had to do any flying just pull the trigger every once in a while. Its no biggie. Torque gets 5 kills before he even drops his external tanks.
But this was the one good mission I needed to end the evening on. Thought I'd share.
