Object counts per strat target

Is there anywhere that I can find the destroy-able object count for each strat target (fuel, AAA, troop, ammo, city)?

Clipboard>options>arena setup>objects>destroy objects  (do offline)

Make sure to check the box up top to show country objects.  Then, simply count the objects in the list (there will also be guns on flak towers and some ground guns at the Radar, AAA and HQ)

BAF = Troop Facility
AAF = Anti-aircraft Factory
RDF = Radar Factory
CIT = City
AMF = Ammo Factory
FUF = Fuel Factory
HQT = Headquarters

If you want printable desktop maps of the Strats, I put some together.  Just PM me your e-mail addy and I'll send the map pack to you.  Jinx put some together too for clipboard use.

No need to count anything.

Go offline and do a downtime check for any target you are interested in, for example .dt 02AAF (ack factory for country 2). You will get a response like "objects 000-04C are all living"
Those numbers are hexadecimal, 04C is the highest object number, so there are 04C = 76 objects.  (Not the actual current count, just an example)

If you have trouble converting hex to dez, your windows calculator will help you (programmer mode)

It seems that process can't be used for SEA terrains (like Germany for example), I assume this is because there are multiple of each factory all over the map...oh well, counting it is. :)

Also Spikes, some of the maps for SEA have multiple strats of the same type: FUF, AAF, AMF, CIT, BAF, etc..   I found that they are joined to a base close to the strat and not the country because there are more than one.  To get a reading for say the anti-aircraft factory near base A17, the dot command would be:  .dt f17aaf.   I think that is what I remember.

I was able to get all of the strats. Are these all in hex format? 309 city objects seems high, but I guess I could be wrong.

309 city objects seems high, but I guess I could be wrong.

It's 310 city buildings and actually the same number as in the MA. Cities have become huge in AHIII

I got the same number as Lusche at 310 buildings.  In addition, there are 2 flak towers.  The north flak tower has only 4 auto flack guns on it's roof and no auto ack guns.  The south Flak tower is different and has 4 auto flak guns and 12 auto ack guns on the flak tower.

Can anyone explain why the city (village) strat hardness is 2.5 x’s that of any other strat?  Furthermore, why doesn’t the hardness of town (village) buildings correspond with that of the city (villlage) strat?

There are no ground auto acks at the city strat in the main arena.  You will see in the objects listed in the arena setup city buildings with a CIT code.  The 2 flak towers have  8 flak guns with the GNA code and the 12 auto-ack on one of the towers have a GNH code.  In looking at the object list in the arena setting, the guns corresponding to the city are grouped with the CIT coded buildings.  You will see them listed on the maps I sent you.  Sometimes whoever is scoring an event, they either count or don't count the guns that may be destroyed at a strat target.  As I remember, only the Radar and AAA strats have 3 ground guns each and HQ has 10 ground guns.  The rest of the strats have no ground guns.  All the strats have Flak towers with the City having 2 flak towers.  There are 3 different type of flak towers used at the strats.  Again, check the maps I sent you and the legend will tell you what is at that strat concerning the guns, their object # and how many are on what tower.

That would be a decision HTC makes so you really need to ask them that question.  It's been that way as long as I can remember.  It may have to do with the City buildings staying down for 3 hours when they are destroyed and the town buildings staying down 30 minutes if the City strat has not been hit.  If a country's City strat is taken down completely (0%), then their town buildings when destroyed will stay down for 3 hours.
