N1K2-J (NIKI) as we call it
« on: October 08, 2017, 11:17:00 AM »
the N1K2-J is a japanese land based Navel Fighter, why can't we have them on our ports? would only seem right. my wish is to have this.

The N1K1 was a float plane fighter and the N1K1-J was the land plane version of this. The plane modelled in AH though is the N1KJ-2, a substantially redesigned version with a low set wing, improved armament and much more reliable landing gear. Although the NIK2-J was exclusively used by the Imperial Japanese Naval Air Force, none were ever equipped with an arrestor hook or flown from an aircraft carrier which is why you can't do that in AH either.

I'd also like to see float plane fighters like the N1K1 or the A6M2-N in AH, that could be flown from ports in the MA.

In my life there is nothing I'm snooty about, ... except calling out the "George" and most people have no idea what I'm referring too.  :)

You can already do this in AH....you just have to land there first. :)

I'd rather see the "Rufe" at ports, if we ever get that plane.
