Texture error msgs

I've been getting quite a few of this error:

Texture creation error=FFFFFFFF Name=[] RTF=00000024 Format=00000000

GTX 1060 with 6GB, DX9.

This is what worked for me to get rid of that error.

Go to the Nvidia control panel.
Check your monitor refresh rate so the setting matches your monitor ie. 60hz.120hz. 144hz

Go to 3d settings change Vsync to ON this will cap the refresh rate of the card to your monitors refresh rate   

This setting is near the bottom of the list.

I have not had that error since I made this change

Rebel: I do have VSYNC on (in fact, in an attempt to reduce stutter I have it set to 1/2 the monitor frame rate so the GPU doesn't bother to draw more than 30 fps).  Thanks for the suggestion though.

Hitech: Everything I do is after a fresh reboot; I never leave the computer on.  It has been a fairly recent thing (last few weeks?) but I can't remember if it coincides with changing to an Nvidea 1060 from a Radeon HD7870.  Sorry.  texerr.txt lists 86 of this identical error (plus two for the City object).

I get these on all the new maps, while scanning the current map checking town statuses, I got one every time I right clicked on a base the first time.

I tried this tonight: you're right, got all kinds of this error when right clicking the map for info (at least for awhile).

I just ignore the texture creation error but when I get home from work I will adjust the setting mentioned above.

I got an error like that a couple of weeks ago.  It only happened one time so I never thought too much of it.

Happens to me pretty frequently.  Hitech, what do you need from me to help find this?

OK, I've been getting this on and off for a while now. I had it last night and found it tied to the clipboard. I got it twice, closing the clipboard and opening it back up cleared it both times. Mousing over "active" things on the clipboard would pop up a "texture creation error"

Mines the newest, updated last week.

I updated due to issues with the film view.... which I am still having.

I get this as well but it seems to be isolated to maps that I haven’t played on my machine and after the first play on the map then next time it cycles back the error messages stop.

Have a GTX 1070 8GB video card get texture errors all the time while using mouse mostly while interacting with the clipboard.

I also get this error regularly.  Also, GTX1060 6GB DX9.  Game plays smoothly, so I just ignore the error.
