Nvidia Triple Monitor & AcesHighIII
« on: May 30, 2018, 02:16:43 PM »
Hi All,

I just recently purchased a gtx 1070,have it installed. Before this vga, I had a AMD product and was able to run Aces flawlessly in triple monitor, @ 5760x1080.

Do any of you guys run Aces with a Nvidia card in triple monitor 5760x1080 res.As of right now, when I enter the game(read tower) in 5760x1080 res.,with the Nvidia card in there "Surround " mode ,one monitor wants to shut down .Not all at once , the monitor will start an extended blink...(for lack of a better explanation). After maybe 7 or 10 "blinks" the monitor starts to shut down.I thought it might be a monitor problem so i changed to a different monitor in "surround" and also a physically different monitor. Still same .The monitor will shut down every time .

Also,If I dont let the monitor (Blinky) shut down, and exit Aces (Blinky) will restore itself to like it never happened.Back to desktop res. of 5760x1080.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance,
Dyna

Triple screen works fine on my 1070.

Did you clean out all of the amd driver?

Have you considered using bezel compensation?

Good point.  You really have to make use of a driver cleaner to get rid of all traces of either AMD or NVidia when switching brands.

Thanks for your quick reply,

I think I uninstalled the old AMD drivers correctly ,using the most up to-date ver. of the DDU uninstaller in safe mode.I do not see any remaining files anywhere.

I think Aces was working ok and then i may have tried/changed something in the 3D setting page from the Nividia control panel. I may try to use the option to restore the settings to the original . Glad it gives you that option.I was watching utube and came across a utube to optimize a different flight sim (DCS), and I set the 3D settings to like that of the utuber. That may be where the problem originates. I hope .
Thanks a bunch
Dyna

Aces High III is designed to work with the default settings in the video card.  It is optimized for that.
