I can easily pull off a successful split ese in the D11 model in game at 1,100 t0 1,000 alt...

BTW: this is something everyone should know about the different types of fighter models they fly, comes in handy when you are down low and being bounced by numerous bogeys....it really catches them off guard!

When they'd publish that minimum altitude, what conditions were they basing that on?  What speed, plane condition, and what G loading did they expect the pilot to sustain to survive the maneuver?  I'd be pretty confident in saying we can beat it by a significant margin in here.

Ken Burnstine rolled into a split S at about 300mph in a mustang at around 5000 feet agl and stall/spun it trying to pull out.

Airframe was stock but it was lightened and had an anti-detonation system installed.
